Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. Lancaster County Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Material here, and a result supplied by a third-party tool, cannot be used for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other decision regulated by FCRA.
Information Can Change
Records are corrected, offices change portals or fees, collections move, and digitization can alter available coverage. Although the service is maintained, no detail is guaranteed to be complete or current at a particular time. Verify information with the custodian before relying on it. A correction belongs with the office that owns the source: Lancaster Assessment has a mailing-address correction route, while a Recorder item can be changed only where the recorded instrument and law permit.
No Legal Advice
Nothing on this service is legal advice. It identifies record sources and describes their general access paths in Lancaster County. It does not replace advice from a licensed attorney about a record, boundary, dispute, or legal right.
Lawful Use Only
Public records do not authorize harm. Do not use material reached through this service to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or injure any person. Pennsylvania’s harassment statute, 18 Pa.C.S. § 2709, and stalking statute, 18 Pa.C.S. § 2709.1, can apply to such conduct. Misuse also violates these Terms of Use.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages contain search boxes provided by third-party companies. We do not control their results, charges, or handling of submitted information. A third-party result is not an FCRA consumer report and must be checked against the original custodian record.
Links to Other Services
Links may point to Assessment and Recorder portals, election services, court searches, archives, local-history collections, or similar resources. The external organization controls its own content, accuracy, and availability, not this service.
No Government Records Here
This service does not hold a government roll, directory volume, court file, or vital certificate. It points to the offices, libraries, and portals that hold those sources. Obtain, verify, or correct a record through the appropriate custodian. Pennsylvania’s Address Confidentiality Program, 23 Pa.C.S. §§ 6701–6713, protects actual participant addresses through a substitute-address system; protected addresses must not be inferred or republished.
