1. About This Service
Lancaster County Residents Directory is a privately operated reference service. It describes and links to public rolls, indexes, and directory collections associated with Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with any office, court, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or material reached through it, to:
- Stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or harm another person.
- Find someone protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit fraud or identity theft.
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or a similar regulated purpose.

3. No Consumer Reporting Service
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither material on the service nor a result from a linked tool is a consumer report. Do not use it to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose regulated by FCRA.
4. Outside Services
Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored-result providers, operate under their own terms and policies. We do not control their content, availability, prices, or data practices.

6. Limits of Liability

7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the service operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from misuse of the service or a breach of these terms.

The service’s original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. You may link to a page or quote a short attributed excerpt, but may not republish full pages or systematically copy content.

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after that posting constitutes acceptance.
10. Access Restrictions
We may restrict or block access, without notice and at our discretion, for a violation of these terms or abuse of the service.
11. Pennsylvania Law
Pennsylvania law governs these terms, without applying conflict-of-law principles. Public-record requests mentioned by this service are subject to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104, which governs agency access but does not require a custodian to create or compile a new record.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
